Parade Notices

This page contains the parade notices for our weekly parades and other corps activities (such as Public Duties and other Corps Events). Our weekly parades are conducted on Mondays (unless otherwise stated), and all personnel are expected to attend. During these parades, our cadets are trained in First Aid, Home Nursing, Transportation of Casualty (TOC) and Footdrill by the Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs). All personnel are encouraged to check the page for updates frequently.

FAC Training Notices

This page contains the training notices for our First Aid Competition (FAC) trainings. Our FAC trainings are conducted on Wednesdays and Fridays (unless otherwise stated), and only Secondary Three and Secondary Four (with selected Secondary Two) cadets are expected to attend. During these trainings, cadets will be equipped with First Aid and Home Nursing knowledge which will be put to test in casualty simulation scenarios which tests their abilities to treat and respond to injuries and crisis situations on the spot. Cadets will also be trained in Footdrill to perform a set of drill commands during the competition. All involved personnel are encouraged to check the page for updates frequently.

About Us

Events

Over the course of the year, our cadets are involved in numerous activities within and out of school. These activities include Public Duties such as The Chingay Parade and courses such as the Non-Commissioned Officer Course. There are also activities which enhance the welfare of our cadets, such as Fun Parades and external activities which include Dragon-Boating.

Our cadets are involved in various activities which seeks to allow them to nurture their strengths and interests, cultivate important values, and realise their full potential to seek opportunities of the future. We recognise the importance of ownership and actively promote an environment where our cadets and leaders are able to plan and carry out self-initiated activities and community-based activities, in line with the mission and goals of St John Singapore.

Corps Structure

The corps functions by having different groups of personnel who function in different capacities. The teachers and officers perform management-level roles of the corps, while our Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) are involved in the day-to-day planning and execution of activities for the cadets.
